UBA SANI FOUNDATION DISTRIBUTES HAND SANITISERS, INFORMATION MATETIALS TO FIGHT COVID 9

The Uba Sani Foundation has distributed over 10,000 hand sanitsers and informational materials to communities in Kaduna Central Senatorial District to boost protection against Covid19 infection.

The Executive Director of the Foundation, Mallam Ibrahim Dan Halilu who presented the items to representatives of the various communities, said the donation was Senator Uba Sani’s little way of assisting the governments’ drive of combating the spread of the deadly virus.

He urged the community leaders to ensure even distribution of the items to households, noting that Kaduna has been one of the states with low rate of infection because of the vigorous efforts of Governor Nasir El Rufai in ensuring strict compliance with the protection guidelines.

He called on other civil society organisations, including faith based groups to ste up sensitization against dangerous practices that expose people to the virus.

Mallam Dan Halilu thanked Senator Sani for sponsoring the production of the hand sanitisers, noting that he was the first to sponsor such a humatarian gesture in the state.

Senator Uba Sani in his message to the constituents said:

“I’ll continue to emphasize that there is no known cure for the notorious corona virus, only precaution is available.

“The observance of personal hygiene and social distancing are key to staying safe. That’s why at the Uba Sani Foundation today we distributed over 1000 hand sanitizers to communities in the 7 LGAs of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone.

“We expect people to use the sanitizers after every contact with surfaces like door handles, stair case rails, atm machine, laptops, or shaking hands.

“It’s part of our little efforts to fight the spread of the virus among our people. Please, stay safe, and stay at home!”, he emphasized.
