The Uba Sani Foundation joined children around the world to celebrate this year’s Children’s Day which is observed on May 27.
The Foundation cosponsored a live radio programme on Liberty Radio, Kaduna, organised by the press club of Destiny College, Malali Kaduna.
The programme featured a panel discussion on a theme “Creating a Safe Learning Environment for Nigerian Child: Child Protection Policy,” and questions and answer sessions by students.
The Foundation donated beautifully branded schools bags that were presented to participating students.
Receiving the branded bags in his office, the Director of the School, Mr. Akintunde Busayo expressed appreciation to the Uba Sani Foundation for cosponsoring the event with a donation of customised school bags.
He described the Foundation as a “reliable partner that honours our request whenever we knock on the door.”
“I recall that three years ago we made a similar request when our students and pupils were celebrating the birthday of Governor Nasiru Ahmed El-Rufai, and we received a donation,” said Akintunde.
